CHIROPRACTIC

Chiropractic care utilizes controlled spinal manipulation and other non-invasive healing modalities to help patients with a variety of acute and chronic pain conditions.

HELPING THE BODY HEAL ITSELF

HOW CAN CHIROPRACTIC HELP YOU?

Chiropractic helps to restore joint mobility through spinal manipulations, also known as "adjustments." By manually applying a controlled force into joints that have restricted movements, Chiropractic adjustments help to reduce and alleviate pain, increase joint mobility, remove nerve impingement, and improve your body's physical function.

For patients looking for non-surgical, non-invasive treatment for various musculoskeletal and pain related conditions, Chiropractic care is not just limited to spinal manipulations, but also may include a wide variety of modalities such as physio therapy, soft tissue manipulation, stretching, and strengthening techniques beneficial for many acute and chronic conditions.

PHYSIO THERAPY

At Simple Health Wellness we utilize electrical stimulation, heat, ice and manual traction in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments, to relieve pain, improve circulation, decrease swelling, decrease muscle spasms and increase range of motion.

KINESIO TAPING

Functional taping or “Kinesio” taping, is a taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to joints and muscles. This flexible taping technique allows for normal range of motion while decreasing pain to the injured area. It also alleviates pain and facilitates lymphatic drainage by microscopically lifting the skin under the tape.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization involves body work done using hand-held instruments that help to break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions in soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia, and nerves). Adhesions within the soft tissue that may have developed as a result of surgery, immobilization, or repetitive strain are gradually broken down, allowing the patient to regain function.

Had a strained back, chiropractor did his thing, then the massage came. I was ready for my trip 2 days later.
